Another Experiment

With the busy summer schedule and the previous series of posts concluding, I have been struggling to maintain the writing pace set during the series and keep the frequency up to the standards I have set for myself this year. To combat this, I had a silly idea that is now in the works. I wrote a simple script to inspect posts to see if there are any posts queued up to be published, if there are no posts I get a notification on my phone. This script is to run every day before I wind down for the day, telling me to do something about the empty queue. I am looking forward to the information coming to me, instead of me having to go look for it.

Time will tell how annoying this gets. If it does get too annoying, I will have to try another experiment.
